Eastcott Vets has been part of of the Swindon community since the 1960’s.
It began life on Eastcott Hill, hence the name. In 1997, Eastcott Vets moved from Eastcott Hill to Bath Road, to what had been the Old Town Club on Bath Road. This coincided with the practice being accredited with the status of Veterinary Hospital – the highest accreditation for a small animal veterinary practice.
In 2001 we were the winner of the national Petplan Veterinary Practice of the Year award which was recognition of how far the practice had come.
In 2011 we moved into our new hospital building where we have amongst the best facilities for a first opinion practice in the country. Eastcott Vets now has 3 veterinary surgeries in Bath Road Clinic, Cricklade Road Clinic, plus our large Clinic & Hospital at Edison Park, Dorcan.
Our Edison Park Clinic & Hospital also sees cases referred to us by other vets and provides Veterinary CPD (continued professional development) courses for vets and veterinary nurses.
2012 Eastcott Vets win the UK Veterinary Practice of the Year again!
In 2012, we again won the Petplan Veterinary Practice of the Year award, and are the only practice in the country to have won this prestigious award twice. In addition, vets, nurses and staff have been nominated for awards every year since the awards have been running.
2014 Eastcott Vets are Recognised as an ISFM Cat Friendly Practice
We have always been particularly skilled at knowing how to provide special treatment for our feline patients. Their requirements are very different to dogs. We are now officially recognised as a Cat Friendly Practice. Read more about what this means for you and your cats.
