Eastcott comprises a long-established primary care team working alongside a multi-disciplinary referral practice and ECC service. The primary care team is experienced in new graduate support, with approachable experienced clinicians committed to training new graduates. The proximity of our team to a network of referral clinicians means that new graduates experience high quality first opinion work, whilst also being exposed to the cutting-edge of specialist veterinary care.
Eastcott’s purpose-built facilities are state of the art. The hospital has two digital x-ray suites, three ultrasound machines, on site CT and MRI, progressive anaesthetic monitoring and well-equipped laboratory facilities. The nursing team is experienced, friendly and aware of the pressures new graduates vets face in their first positions.
The hospital has two dog wards and a separate cat ward. There is a dedicated ICU, housing the ECC team. We have an imaging support team who enjoy teaching, and a veterinary ambulance. The pro-active admin team ensure you are free to focus on clinical work.
Eastcott has a proud history of supporting new graduates within the Primary Care team. Many of the experienced vets in the team started here as new graduates. We know that the transition from university to clinical practice is exciting but daunting, so allow the time and space for professional development. We hope the wonderful facilities, supportive team and exciting mix of primary care and referral work under one roof mean you’d like to start your career with us!
