Introducing our new Guide Dog puppy...and it's a BOY!
We were disappointed to hear that our first Guide Dog puppy Edison had to be withdrawn from training and had been waiting for a new puppy. This had held up a little by a lack of puppy walkers. Then, all of a sudden we were offered this gorgeous little chap and could not resist. We felt that the only appropriate name for a puppy bought through the fundrasing efforts of Eastcott staff and clients was Edison (Mk 2!) after our hospital.
This is the beginning of a very exciting journey for Edison, and one that we are delighted that you will be following with us over the next 12 months so. For now he is an uncoordinated bundle of fluff but over the coming weeks and months we look forward to sharing the beginnings of his transformation into a responsible Guide Dog with you. Thank you again to all of you who helped raise the £10,000 needed to sponsor Edison. Thank you also to everyone who suggested names for our proposed female Guide Dog, we will keep these available for any future Guide Dogs that we may sponsor.
