Following the success of our first pet blood bank event back in August, we're happy to announce a second event on Wednesday 7th October.
You do not need to be a registered client of Eastcott Vets for your dog to be able to help other patients, and every unit of blood that your dog donates can help save the lives of up to four other dogs around the UK.
In order to become a donor your dog must:
- Be fit and healthy
- Be between one and eight years’ old
- Weigh more than 25kg
- Have a good temperament
- Have never travelled abroad
- Be fully vaccinated
- Not be on any medication
There are some breeds in particular that are in short supply, so if you own one of the breeds below, please consider signing up.
