Clare Taylor

Clare qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1994 and has worked mostly in small animal practice with a short period in large animal. Clare first joined Eastcott in 1999, having moved from the North. She spent four years at the then hospital in Bath Road before spreading her wings into a referral practice for small animal and avian and exotic species for seven years.
Clare gained her Advanced Veterinary Nursing Diploma in 2004, and her City and Guilds Certificate in Avian and Exotic Nursing in 2007. She returned to Eastcott to continue her career working as the weekend nurse, allowing her to continue in her particular areas of interest of surgery, nursing and emergency work.
Hobbies include being outside in the fresh air and enjoying the good things in life, mainly cake! Helen's pets are of the smaller variety being a couple of naughty goldfish and loaches, that are always moving their tank furniture around, and knocking on the glass for food, plus a very noisy canary called Wurzel from Somerset.
