Clare Surgener

Clare has been a Vet nurse for about 20 years. She started her training in Northern Ireland, finished in Swindon, and qualified in 2008 while at Eastcott. Later in 2014 Clare qualified as an Animal Behaviourist and runs a behavioral clinic here at Eastcott. Clare says "I enjoy all aspects of my job immensely and particularly enjoy general anaesthesia and consulting with clients who are struggling with their pet's behaviour. The feeling of joy I get from knowing that I have helped to strengthen the bond between a family and their pet, is fantastic!"

Clare lives with her husband and two children and has a parrot called Tango.  When not at work Clare enjoys baking with her children, and keeping fit through less boring exercises like salsa dancing, pole fitness, rock climbing and water sports.
