Testimonials

Hi Niki As a member of the 'Rabbit Welfare Association' I have been very happy with the support offered to me by Eastcott Vets. Ross particularly, nicknamed 'Mr Rabbit, is very knowledgeable about the specific requirements of Britain's third most popular pet. As the carer of 8 rabbits I know how important it is to find a 'rabbit savy' vet in Swindon who covers 24/7 care and emergency treatment for rabbits. Miss Cornelia needed special care recently and I thank you for your help and treatment. Many thanks to Ross and the team and then you for putting on the excellent Open Day so we could have a look around your fantastic hospital Sandra Williams Rabbit Welfare Association Member

Richard & Duncan Thank you for piecing together, stitching up & mending Clarke for me. Thank you to you wonderful Nurses who gave him cuddles & nursed him back to good health, it is lovely to have Clarke back home with me. Eastcott, you are absolutely marvelous. Best Regards Diane

Thank you very much for all the love & care you gave to Skip when he was so very poorly, we cannot thank you enough. His recovery is going well & he is nearly back to his old self. He means everything to us & we thank you once again for making him better. Karen & Bash Bourne

Dear Katie I cannot begin to tell you what a difference you made to this sad experience with our sweet & funny cat Steve. Your kindness & sensitivity has been much appreciated & I wanted you to be sure to know this. With many Thanks from my daughter Mary & myself. Barbara

Dear Friends, I just wanted to write and thank you for the attention you gave to the little jackdaw I brought in just after Christmas. I called your Practice and you were so caring on the phone and willing to help. I felt the little bird was in good hands and even though he was unable to be saved, the message you left me giving a full description of what you thought had caused him to be in that condition did a lot to alleviate the sadness that one feels when a beautiful creature is lost to us. My heartfelt thanks to you all for being compassionate. It was my daughter’s idea to try you as she is a client of yours and always has good things to say of the practice. It’s easy to see why a small, wild jackdaw would not feature highly in the scheme of a modern world, but you managed to restore my faith that these creatures matter and are worthy of our efforts and I am very grateful to you all. Keep doing the splendid work that you so obviously are, I will not hesitate in recommending you if I am asked by anyone for the name of a good veterinary practice.

I just wanted to say how reassuring it was to come and have a look around the new hospital and view all of the facilities, it was good to get an idea of how very modern and well equipped things are behind the scenes. As a client whose dogs make such regular visits to the practice Eastcott is certainly a practice that I would recommend

Many thanks,
Bev Taylor, Lucy & Carly

Parvo Virus Alert

We have seen several cases of Parvo Virus in recent weeks. There was a nasty outbreak last year. Many dogs and puppies were infected and sadly within Swindon many died. Whilst we can provide intensive care support for those infected, there is no specific treatment or cure, so it is vital to ensure that your dog is vaccinated in both puppyhood and adult life. Unfortunately, it is very stable in the environment, so any animal which sheds the virus not only contaminates the environment, but poses a risk to other animals as well.
