Parvo Virus Alert

We have seen several cases of Parvo Virus in recent weeks. There was a nasty outbreak last year. Many dogs and puppies were infected and sadly within Swindon many died. Whilst we can provide intensive care support for those infected, there is no specific treatment or cure, so it is vital to ensure that your dog is vaccinated in both puppyhood and adult life. Unfortunately, it is very stable in the environment, so any animal which sheds the virus not only contaminates the environment, but poses a risk to other animals as well.
