Here at Eastcott Vets our staff are delighted to be supporting Guide Dogs for the Blind and will be taking part in the Coniston Challenge in the Lake District Sept 2011. Our Vets, Nurses & Admin staff will hike up a mountain, bike through the forest & kayak across the lake in aim to raise £10,000. Niki Burton Practice Manager says 'We are all very excited to be taking part in the Coniston Challenge & to raise money for such a fantastic charity. If we hit our target of £10,000 it will enable us to sponsor and name our very own guide dog puppy which will help change someone's life. We are hoping to name it 'Edison' after our new purpose built hospital at Edison Park, Dorcan Way, due to open in Summer 2011.
