Puppy and Kitten Clubs
All Nurses This is a wonderful opportunity for new puppy and kitten owners to discuss any concerns they may have. Clubs are run at 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 12 months of age. Our friendly nurses will do weight/development checks & discuss any issues such as diet, housetraining, behaviour, worming, fleas, grooming, neutering, microchipping, teeth, & insurance. This is a perfect opportunity for the puppy or kitten a positive experience to the puppy/kitten with their visits to the vets. Puppy parties
All Nurses Teaching a new puppy how to get along with other dogs will be perhaps the most important part of its development and it has to start early. Puppy parties provide a wonderful introduction to socialization, basic training, nutrition and general healthcare. Our qualified nurses will be on hand to answer any questions & we also have a qualified dog trainer doing demonstrations on clicker training. The environment is light hearted & fun, suitable for puppies under 4 months of age, between 1st & 2nd vaccinations. Weight Clinics
Amelia Hambridge Nearly 1 in 5 pets in the UK are now thought to be clinically overweight. Overweight pets have potentially serious health issues and this clinic allows for a controlled program of weight loss. Qualified in Pet Nutrition, our nurses will discuss diets & any concerns you may have on a one to one basis with you & your pet. We can help plan a suitable program & monitor progress at free ‘weigh in’ clinics.
Dental Clinics
All nurses The nurses perform routine checks and consultations after dental treatment in order to advise on maintaining good oral hygiene. There are many ways to help look after your pets teeth including suitable toys, treats diet & teeth cleaning.
Adolescent Clinics
All nurses It is important to check puppies and kittens at 6 months old in order to assess their development. Our caring nurses will discuss issues such as worming, flea control, behavior and neutering.
