Eastcott Administration
Company Director/ finance and payroll Ibby joined the practice in 1986 being the joint longest serving member of the team. Originally agreeing to help Pete out a few hours a week, it gradually led up to what is now a full time job.
Ibby is in charge of compiling the monthly management reports for the directors and most importantly paying the 50 staff at Eastcott!
Ibby has five children and luckily for them (and Pete) loves cooking. Other hobbies include tennis and running in what is left of her spare time.
To keep Ibby sane, Sarah Hayward was employed to help in 2008.
Niki joined the practice in September 2001 as a member of the Client Care Team and her help covering staff absences during the week plus her cheerful demeanour soon made her a valuable member of the team, she worked with Sharon as Client Care Manager for three years before moving on to Marketing & Project Manager. Niki has achieved her NVQs in Team Leading, Customer Service Level 3, Advice & Guidance, IT Level 1 & 2 & obtained her Certificate in Business Marketing. In her spare time she is devoted to her lively 11 year old boys and enjoys caring for her 2 dogs, cat & tortoise. She also enjoys travelling, theatre, cinema, eating out, running and loves shopping (well at least Niki does!).
Duputy Client Care Team Manager Hana joined the company in June 2009 as a part time member of the client care team. She was promoted in 2011 and now works full time as deputy client care manager. Before joining Eastcott she studied and achieved a diploma in Animal management at Lackham College, she has continued her studies here at Eastcott and has achieved her NVQ level 2 in customer service. In her spare time Hana enjoys spending time with her dog Milo and socialising with friends.
Gerry started in January 1991 which makes her the second longest serving member of staff behind Pete. Her responsibilities are far reaching from accounts, credit control and office management to arranging rotas and organising vaccination reminders. It's a wonder she has time to walk her Cairn terrier Lewis, go to the gym or read.
Athena worked hard for 4 years to get into this line of work and was delighted to finally achieve her goal. Away from work she enjoys time with her daughter, travelling and is interested in different cultures, she also enjoys family gatherings, cinema, cooking and eating out and has 2 cats called Princess and Tiggy. Athena has continued to work hard on her professional qualifications having completed her NVQ in IT (Level 1 & 2) & Customer Service level 2. Athena has recently taken on a new role as Administrative Assistant & is a pleasure to have in the office.
Victoria has been with us since 2006 when she joined the client care team, she moved to her current role in 2009. Victoria’s background is a customer service one having previously worked for major retailers and the NHS. In her spare time Victoria likes to devote as much time to her boxer Inara, who was born by caesarian section at our Bath Road branch, as possible. Other than this she enjoys socialising with friends and family and reading.
Finance and Payroll Assistant Originally, Sarah worked as a weekend receptionist at Eastcott vets for four years before leaving to have her third child. Seven years later, Sarah returned as Ibby's assistant in 2008.
Sarah has four children and Dave, a now famous springer spaniel - thanks to some promotional work for the practice.
She devotes her spare time, along with her husband, to their four children and all their hobbies, although they do squeeze in a blast round the lake on their jet skis whenever time allows.

We have seen several cases of Parvo Virus in recent weeks. There was a nasty outbreak last year. Many dogs and puppies were infected and sadly within Swindon many died. Whilst we can provide intensive care support for those infected, there is no specific treatment or cure, so it is vital to ensure that your dog is vaccinated in both puppyhood and adult life. Unfortunately, it is very stable in the environment, so any animal which sheds the virus not only contaminates the environment, but poses a risk to other animals as well.
